North Vancouver House

Today I am moving out of my North Vancouver house and back to the other side of town to finish up work. After having see the shot of the patio view from my last post my mom asked to see the inside of the place so here they are. It was a REALLY nice place but it would have been a lot nicer to have spent more time there.

Still in the Vancouver

Its been over a week I think between my last post and this one because I have been working hard at Paralympics. 4 games a day is a lot of work. Thats four different scripts, 8 different team rosters and around 28,800 fans (UBC arena holds 7,200 people a game and we have had great attendants for all games). Our booth is a little production booth at the top of the arena with a great view of the ice.

So far Team USA and Canada are winning big! It looks like they are setting up for a show down in the gold medal game next Saturday. I can't wait. There should be lots of hard hits in that one. My hotel is great if only I was here to enjoy it. We have so far worked from 6am to 10:30pm but when I do make it home it looks like this from my back door.

Not Bad right? I look forward to later in the week when we have less games to sitting on the porch and taking in the view of Downtown Vancouver. Hope everyone is doing well. Drop me an e-mail if you want to talk.

Vancouver 2010

So I have made it to Vancouver for the 2010 Paralympics. I have a few days until I have to start rehearsals for the sledge hockey games so I went on a walk near our house. The water is only about 9 blocks from us so I headed that way to get some pics. It was a beautiful day for shooting. There was only on problem. I brought the wrong battery. The one that had like 10% juice. Ugg... I got about 10 shots in and the battery quit on me. Thats ok, the day was great and I did get two I thought showed the days beauty.

Winter in SD

Finally Winter is here! It has started to cool off in San Diego and I couldn't be happier. I love not having to dig my car out of snow every morning and I love that it doesn't rain everyday in SD but I do get a little sick of it always being 85 and Sunny. I'm from the Bay Area after all and I do like myself a little winter weather in November! Call me Crazy. So now that the sun is setting much earlier I had to rush down to the beach to get this shot after work. I like the way the water turned out.

Kevin's Artistic World

So, my friends Kevin and Frances are pretty arts(e) people and so when I asked Kevin if he would be fine with me taking some pictures of him he of course could not sit still for like more than 20 seconds in a row. He started to get inspired and work on his own creations. Maybe it was the little green friend he has in his hand in the first picture. Despite his A.D.D. I am always very thankful that they let me take very bad pictures of them. You guys Rock!!!
